Instructor

Margherita Conti is a musician, composer, producer, music instructor and publisher. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Sierra Nevada College and her Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the Society for Research in Music Education, and Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).

Margherita teaches guitar, piano, voice, composition, and music theory to youth and adults. She currently serves on the board of the Seattle Music Teachers Association.

Margherita’s original music (see Marguerite Conti) has received airplay on both public and commercial radio stations nationally and is distributed internationally through iTunes, Amazon Music, CD Baby, and other online retailers.

A long-time resident of Seattle, she has been an active volunteer for the Seattle Public Schools music programs, and has served as a Steering Committee Member for the Seattle Performing Songwriters Collective, and on the board of directors for the Seattle Folklore Society.
